A home for Hamilton Freemasonry

The Waikato Masonic Centre provides dedicated facilities for Freemasonry in central Hamilton.Owned and managed by Waikato Masonic Centre Ltd, the Centre is home to three shareholding Craft lodges and is also used by a number of other Masonic Orders.Its lodge rooms, refectory and shared facilities provide a purpose-built setting for meetings, ceremonies, dining and fellowship throughout the year.

MASONIC COMMUNITY

The Waikato Masonic Centre is home to three Craft lodges: The Beta-Waikato Lodge No. 12, Lodge Alexandra No. 1188 EC, Lodge Tawhiri No. 166.Together, they represent both the New Zealand and English Constitutions and share Barton Street as their meeting place in central Hamilton.The Centre is also used by other Masonic Orders, including Alexandra Chapter No. 1188 (Royal Arch), Tawhiri Chapter No. 97 (Royal Arch), Waikato No. 22 (Cryptic Council) and Hamilton Chapter No. 30 (Antient & Accepted Rite)Each organisation has its own traditions, meetings and membership, while together forming part of the wider Masonic community that meets at the Centre.

Community & Private Bookings

The Waikato Masonic Centre offers flexible spaces for community groups, church groups, meetings, classes and suitable private functions in central Hamilton.Facilities include a large refectory, fully equipped kitchen and flexible meeting spaces, with tables and seating that can be arranged for different activities.
